General product category rules apply to all construction products, as do supplementary documents and templates

The general guides and product category rules that apply primarily to all building materials are summarised in the Management System Handbook (MS-HB) for the creation of Type III Environmental Product Declarations of Bau EPD GmbH.
These are specifications on quality assurance and verification procedures, general product category rules and general LCA rules for EPDs that go beyond the requirements of applicable legal texts and/or standardisation regulations.
The handbook consists of the core document (MS-HB) and the applicable documents (flow charts, guides, templates including format templates as well as lists).

For review and comparison, here we provide the previously valid general PCRs and guides according to EN 15804:2014+A1.
The management procedures are summarised in this version in the “basic document”.
The general LCA rules are summarised in the document “PCR-A LCA Rules” (in German: PKR-A Ökobilanzregeln).
